We have 2 offices in the Atlanta area. One in Buckhead (on Piedmont Road north just north of Miami Circle/across from the Mercedes Benz dealership) and one in Alpharetta (Old Milton Parkway exit, close to the Webb Bridge Post Office). Dr. Johnson works in both offices and we have Physician Assistants and Estheticians in both offices. You can make your appointment in whichever office is most convenient for your schedule.Insurance visits can be used for anything that is a medical concern, which includes things like acne, rashes, skin cancer screening, hair loss, growths, etc.
Insurance does not cover things like skincare consults and cosmetic consultations.
If you have any questions about whether your issue is medical or cosmetic, please call or text and we’d be happy to help.
If you do have health insurance, then you may be subject to co-pays, co-insurance and deductible amounts that will be due at the time of your visit. These are determined by your insurance company and not by our office.Yes, of course. We see many patients who either do not have insurance or do not have an insurance plan with which we’re contracted. We will give you a quote for estimated costs and collect payment at the time of your visit.
FREE parking is on the side of the building in Buckhead and additional parking is in the back. In Alpharetta, there is FREE parking in front of the office.
It’s ok to bring a friend or family member to your appointment. Depending on the nature of the appointment, your guest may not be allowed to remain in the exam room during procedures.
We make every effort to accommodate same day treatment requests, but for non-emergent medical procedures, we usually require a consultation first to estimate the time needed for the procedure and verify costs for insurance. For cosmetic treatments, we typically try to treat the same day if you’d like so please let us know if that’s something in which you’re interested.
Yes, we see children (and any aged person :-))
If you would benefit from an esthetician consultation, we try to accommodate those if you’re already in office for another visit (like a visit with Dr. Johnson or a PA). However, if you think you may like to see an esthetician, then please let us know during scheduling and we can make sure to include the time to do so.
We offer financing assistance through CareCredit and Cherry. Details about payment plans and terms are determined by those companies.

With either cosmetic or medical concerns, we need to see the area to be treated, so please make sure that it’s exposed–i.e. little or no makeup, if possible, remove weaves and hair coverings, make sure that you can undress if the area is under clothing.
