About Steele Renewal Peel
Ideal for hyperpigmentation and melasma, powerful ingredients are used to target, break down, and lift pigment that sits in the epidermis. They will also inhibit the mechanism within the skin that is contributing to hyperpigmentation. This treatment is suitable for all skin types.
Powerful ingredients are layered on the skin to begin the renewal process. Left on for several hours, the solutions begin to penetrate deep into the skin to correct hyperpigmentation and imperfections. There will be some irritation and heavy peeling following the treatment.
Peeling will begin within 24 hours and may last up to 7-10 days. You will use a specific post-treatment kit as well as a specially-compounded brightening cream for several weeks following the treatment. Improvement is seen during this time, but additional treatments are recommended for best results. Maintenance can be achieved with less-aggressive chemical treatments in the clinic as well as prescribed home care and proper sun protection. You will need to avoid intense sun exposure while peeling and makeup may be difficult to wear during peak peeling days.
For best results, 2-3 treatments are recommended. Maintenance includes monthly skin brightening treatments in our clinic, as well as following a prescribed skin-care regimen, once goals are achieved.
