What causes aging hands?
The natural aging process is mostly responsible for older looking hands. Of course, it happens sooner for some and later for others, but over time, you will see it. As the skin ages, it gets thinner and has less collagen and elastin, veins become more prominent and sun freckles/discoloration become more significant.
