What is dull skin, pores, and texture?
If you suffer from dull skin you may feel like your skin just doesn’t seem as smooth, vibrant, or tight as you’d like. Your skin may even feel rough or pebbly and makeup may not go on smoothly. In fact, when one has skin texture issues, it may seem that makeup exacerbates the issue or brings attention to the issue. It isn’t a specific skin condition, and may not be related to age. It may just be your genetic predisposition. It doesn’t have to remain that way though.

What causes dull skin, pores, and texture?
Sometimes there are acne-related issues that cause skin texture unevenness. These can be under-the-skin, tiny cysts and bumps and acne scars. You may also have rougher or more dull skin genetically that requires more exfoliation on a regular basis. There are certain conditions, like keratosis pilaris, that cause the skin to feel rough. Sun damage and other environmental factors (especially smoking) can, of course, cause uneven skin texture and dullness which will require repair.
Where do you get dull skin, pores, and texture?
Typically you’ll notice uneven skin texture, tone and texture on the face, but some people have conditions on the arms, legs, and buttocks that require smoothing treatments.
